I live in a country where I'd say nine out of ten people know me when I walk through the streets. There's people taking pictures, there's tabloids trying to make up stories. I'm used to that. The same thing when I'm in Australia or the U.K.: I get stopped.
The manners thing's got worse. People think they can just text you if they've got bad news for you. It's not on. And as for people taking pictures at gigs on their phones, that's just weird. Mark E. Smith
Tweets? That stuff kills conversation. And people taking pictures with their phone or recording you, sometimes surreptitiously, is creepy. They come up and just start talking to you, and you can see the red light on their phone. Robin Williams
